9: Lanark - Lesmahagow/Glespin
Wolfcrooks Road, Sandilands will be closed between Ponfeigh Road and Kirkfieldbank Road on Monday 4th May 2026 to allow BT to undertake manhole replacement works. Service 9 journeys will be unable to serve Eastertown Road and Douglas Water. Journeys will divert via A70 and Kirkfieldbank Road in both directions. Kenmure Avenue from the junction of Brackenbrae Road to Pollok Drive will be closed from 0600 on Monday 27th April 2026 until 1800 on Friday 8th May 2026 to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Service 142 will operate the following normal route and Kenmure Avenue, diverting on to Pollok Drive, Brackenbrae Avenue and resume normal route. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Hallhill Road will be closed between Old Shettleston Road and the roundabout at Budhill Avenue from Tuesday 7th April 2026 until Friday 10th April 2026 to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Service 46 from Castlemilk will operate normal route and continue on Shettleston Road, diverting on to Gartocher Road, B765, Springboig Road, Threestonehill Avenue, Hollowglen Road and resuming normal route. Return journey will operate same diversion, We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

From Monday 6th April until Monday 18th May 2026 works will commence on the A89 Bargeddie Roundabout. There will be no left hand turn available from A89 Glasgow Road on to Langmuir Road to facilitate junction improvement works. Service 222, to Baillieston will operate normal. Service from Baillieston will operate normal route to Coatbridge Road, diverting on to A8 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road, Langmuir Road, Rosebank Terrace, Dykehead Road, Langmuir Road, A8 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road, Whifflet Street and resuming normal route. Please note any passengers wishing to travel from Kirkwood or Old Monklands Road will require to use the alternative services 2 and 16. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
